Ceramics are used as simulacra of industrial elements and salvaged artefacts to explore memory and identity of individuals and communities that experienced change. These ceramic arrangements and reconstructions explore, through the process of decay, the frailty of existence and purposefulness.
The artist explores the elements of mam-made objects as they change from having functional purpose to a redundant condition. Then, like all thing, they will eventual return to their natural elemental parts.
